NetGate-2 results published
February 7, 2008 - NetGate-2 was a one-year industrial research project finished in October 2007. It continued the work done in an earlier NetGate project. The coordinator of the project was HIP Technology Programme and the other research partners were the Technology Business Research Center of the Lappeenranta University of Technology and the University of Tampere. The project was financed by the Finnish National Technology Agency (Tekes) and the participating six companies. The project exploited national and international research on Grid technologies and transfered this knowledge to Finnish industry. The project had three focus areas: Security, Terminal Grid computing, and Grid business research.
